Essential Studio keeps your files only as long as it takes to process them.

Your files

When you run a tool, your files are uploaded over an encrypted connection and processed on our servers. Uploaded files are deleted as soon as the job finishes, and results are deleted as soon as your browser has downloaded them. Anything left behind, for example when a tab is closed mid-job, is deleted within an hour. We never look at, share or keep copies of your files.

Visit counts

We count page visits without cookies. Each visit is counted against a one-way hash of your IP address and browser, mixed with a random value that is replaced every day, so visits cannot be linked across days. We also store the website that referred you, if any. If your browser sends Do Not Track, we don’t count you at all.

Accounts

If you create an account we store your email address and a securely hashed password, plus a sign-in cookie that keeps you signed in.
